How do I download a video?

Tap Share on the post and copy the link (or copy it from your browser's address bar), paste it into the input field, and click Download. We'll extract all available media and show you the quality options.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, curl-x works on all devices including iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and desktop computers. No app installation required - it runs in your browser. On iOS, files save to the Files app. On Android, they go to Downloads.

What video quality options are available?

curl-x lists the quality variants it can find, typically HD and smaller SD options. Videos download as MP4, which works with most devices and media players.

Do I need to create an account?

No. No registration, login, or software installation is needed. Paste a supported public post link and choose a download.

Is it legal to download social media videos?

What file formats are supported?

Videos download as MP4. Photos keep the best available format and resolution. Some GIF-style posts are delivered as MP4, with GIF download or conversion where available.
