Does curl-x remove the TikTok watermark?
No — curl-x saves the video file exactly as TikTok's own page and embed-player endpoints serve it, watermark included if the source carries one. No tool can honestly strip a watermark without re-encoding the video, and curl-x doesn't do that.
Can curl-x download private TikTok videos?
No. Private accounts and videos aren't exposed through TikTok's public page or embed-player endpoints, so there's no public data for curl-x to extract.
Why do some TikTok download links stop working after a while?
TikTok's video CDN URLs are session-signed and expire, which is why curl-x re-resolves the post at the moment you click download instead of reusing a stored link — if a link ever fails, just paste the TikTok URL again.
Does curl-x work with vm.tiktok.com short links?
Yes — short links from vm.tiktok.com, vt.tiktok.com, and www.tiktok.com/t/ are all followed automatically before extraction.
Can I download TikTok photo posts, not just videos?
